Optical Transmission Loss Fault Detection and Prediction Tools for Optical Fiber Cable Maintenance

We exhibit two kinds of optical transmission loss analysis tools for optical fiber cable maintenance. "Optical loss fault section listing tool" automatically analyzes transmission loss distribution along optical fiber cables and extracts fault sections. "Optical loss prediction tool" applies time-series analysis to transmission loss data and predicts future loss change.

【Summary】

On-Vehicle type gas pipeline inspection system

By driving a car equipped with a highly sensitive laser gas sensor, this system enables more efficient pipeline inspection than conventional inspections conducted by methane sensor workers on foot. Even when driving at speeds up to 65 km/h, the system detects small leaks within tens of meters upwind of the road. By analyzing sensor data to narrow down the scope of investigation, the system enables efficient leak location identification. In addition, it is possible to make a major contribution to global warming countermeasures by producing a methane gas leak map.

Super water-repellent material HIREC

A paint-type super water-repellent material that strongly repels water. Prevents water film attenuation of antennas and radars, or accidents from falling snow from high-altitude structures.
